ADIDAS GOLF – ADIZERO LAUNCH

Challenge

Adidas Golf needed people to say, “wow” in response to the launch of its new adizero Tour golf shoe.

Solution

To promote the lightest shoe the company has ever created, The Brand Amp had PGA Tour stars Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Brandt Snedeker fly replica aircrafts, as nearly 50 media participated in a launch event before the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The event was followed up with a press kit that made it appear that the shoes were so light, they were floating above the grass.

Coverage from the event included national outlets such as the Today Show, MSNBC, Golf Channel and The Weather Channel.
