Overview

The Events team was tasked by the American Flying Tigers Legacy Foundation to support the 80th Anniversary celebration at Yanks Air Museum in Chino California. The program honored the heroic actions of American volunteer pilots and crews working in collaboration with the Chinese to resist the Imperial Japanese Army. The program included inspiring video content, a moving speech from 100-year-old Mel McMullen who served as a tailgunner with the Flying Tigers from (194x – 194X) and speeches from other family members. The backdrop included a massive American flag centered between a P-51 Mustang and P-40E Warbird with the iconic Flying Tiger markings. The event concluded with the unveiling of a Flying Tigers monument plaque, now on display at Memorial Hall. Hospitality aspects included floral centerpieces on table rounds, a breakfast, champagne toast, commemorative goodie bags and a celebratory dinner later in the day. The anniversary celebration was a seamless and memorable event that honored history while bringing veterans, families, and guests together in a truly special way.
